CLK Boğaziçi Electric declared that there is an increase in moving to a new house in the first 6 months of this year and on the contrary, there is a decrease in the requests for second hand houses.
According to the Real Estate Energy Report explained every three months by the CLK Boğaziçi Electric, which serves to 4.2 million subscribers in European Side, there is an increase in moving to a new house in the first 6 months of this year and on the contrary, there is a decrease in the requests for second hand houses. In accordance with the report, 72 thousand and 233 real estate property met new residents in the first 6 months of the year 2016 in European Side. This means that there is a 41 percent increase in the number of family settled to a new property when compared to the same period of the last year. It means that every day approximately 8 separate building with 50 flats that are ready for residency, met with its residents. Urban Transformation Increase the rate of House Moves
14 thousand and 467 new house moving activity in the month May of the year 2016 is measured to be a record. It is measured that the highest number of moving to a new house activities in the European Side of İstanbul are the places of Bağcılar and Küçükçekmece called as renewal power where building demolition and construction activities are concentrated in the first 6 months of the year. It draws attention that 25 thousand and 278 family settled into the new buildings in these places. By looking at the increase in the numbers, it attracts the attention that urban renewal activities in aforesaid places started to bear fruit.
“Energy of the Sector does not Ease Down”
Under the heading of “subscription to old institution” which reveals the dynamism of second hand selling and leasing of real estate properties, the decrease again continued. According to this, the number of moving to flats of existing buildings is 182 thousand and 429 in the first 6 months of the year 2015 which is a 15.1 decrease by compared to the same period of 2016 with a number of 154 thousand and 726. May of the last year draws attention that it was the period which showed the lowest activity with a number of 22 thousand and 102 moves in this terms. Real estate activities in the European Side is reflected in the report also revealed the investment trends of real estates for local and foreign traders’. We observe with new data that there is no deceleration in the energy of the sector.
The biggest Request for Real Estate Properties is from Syrians
İbrahim Gümüşlü, who evaluated 6 months data, underlined the fact that, in recent years, with the increase in the number of foreign residents, foreign electric subscriber number reached the number of 24 thousand and 854 in the European Side of İstanbul. Gümüşlü directed attention to the increase in the number of real estate property sales which is parallel to the increase in the subscribers. He declared that “Between the April-June period, the number of foreign families increased with a number of 6 thousand 243. By looking from this perspective, in the second 3 months period, every day 68 foreign applied for electric subscription for their new houses in the European Side of İstanbul.” It attracts attention that Syrians, who escaped from the internal war in their country and took refuge in Turkey, continue to take a remarkable share among the foreign subscriber families in İstanbul. In the first 6 months of 2015, 860 Syrian family applied for electric subscription in the European Side whereas this number increased by 727 percent and reached to 7 thousand and 117 in the same period 2016. Looking from the perspective of a resident and business operator the number of Syrian families reached to 10 thousand and 367 in the European Side of İstanbul.
What Happened in the First 6 Months of the Year 2016?
► Real estate door is opened for the first time with 41 percent increase and 72 thousand and 233 real estate property sales in the European Side of İstanbul when compared to the 6 months of last year. Every day, approximately with an average of 395 family settled to their constructed flats.
► This means that every day 8 newly constructed building with 50 flats meet its residents for the first time.
► The number of settlements to second hand real estate property decreased to 154 thousand and 726 with a decrease of 15.1 percent compared to first 6 months of the last year.
► In the meaning of moving to first hand real estate properties, regions of Bağcılar and Küçükçekmece which came to the front in urban transformation took the leadership from Avcılar region and drew attention.
► In the total real estate activities, Beylikdüzü, Ispartakule, Esenyurt ve Başakşehir which are in the region of Avcılar where new real estate projects show up came to the front.
► Among 4.2 million subscriber, the number of foreing family increased by 33.5 percent and reached to a number of 24 thousand and 854 when compared to the first quarter.
►In the second 3 months period, every day 68 new foreign family subscribed.
► The number of Syrian citizen families increased by 727 percent when compared to the first 6 months of the last year.
► According to existing numbers, the number of Syrian subscriber family reached to 10 thousand and 367 in the European Side of İstanbul.
► Syrian families whose residences are on behalf have 9 thousand 498 real estate property and 869 office subscriptions.
